Throw out all smoking paraphernalia. Get rid of them when that quit date hits! Get rid of your smokes, if you hold on to any cigarettes it is a temptation as well as a subconscious easy way out .. if you are serious break the fags & toss them out, if you can’t do that you are not ready to quit. Also get rid of lighters & anything else that has to do with smoking in your space.

Greetings, Eve,

Media-relations officer David Corriveau checking in from Dartmouth Medical School, home of the R-rated movie/drinking study. Funny you should mention fast food as another harmful effect. Another of our researchers, Lisa Sutherland, examined the the influence of fast-food (including soda) product-placement on the buying (and eating) habits of teens, in a study released in February. You can read all about it at http://dms.dartmouth.edu/news/2010/02/08_sutherland.shtml.

To read more about the R-rated study, take a look at http://dms.dartmouth.edu/news/2010/04/26_tanski.shtml ... which ends with links to related studies by these and other Dartmouth researchers.
