I was on my way back to work after a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ [I ripped my pants], and there is a city work crew tearing up East Main street [what else is new?]. Their flagman is standing there, not even looking at what he’s doing, airily waving me on through. As I am half way through the construction, he starts waving a Rent a Center truck through in the other direction!!! Hel-LO!!! The RAC driver stopped and I was able to squeak through [thought about knocking over a couple cones just for spite], but dammit, it was close!
