If you were self promoting you would not talk about the things you do and would instead talk about only yourself. That is not at all what is going on.

Perhaps the only aspect of all of this that is not apparent is what your intentions are longterm for this blog and all. I think I understand the blogging thing as I used to diary a long time ago, and I used a computer as it was easier than writing manually. I would have never thought to publish what I wrote but then again, I am not in the newspaper biz like you.

As you mentioned, if anyone wants to know about you all they need do is peruse the Newspaper’s site. I would add that you have to be comfortable with whom ever you are including in your circle of friends and if someone creates a level of discomfort in your heart, it is your instinct’s way of protecting yourself…listen and do what you know to be right.
