“What would Adrian Monk do?” I actually stopped reading and started thinking how funny that episode would be. I’m still smiling. It’s an intersting time of year for the flu to be making an appearance. There are roughly 36,000 deaths per year due to the flu…yikes!

Talk about a pandemic- I think the only one doing the rounds is that of fear. Face it, we have faced potential pandemic situations in the past, and will face them in the future in the future. The timing of the outbreak this time is creating more of a havoc, clashing as it does with the onset of the allergy season. I am allergic to everything under god’s earth! It doesn’t help my runny red nose and streaming eyes when people look at me, not only in disgust, but also with suspicion! But who’s complaining? My queues get shorter and I get vacant seats on a bus at a sneeze! Kisses and hugs, anybody?
