Thanks, this made me smile and laugh.
My kids are all grown now but I still enjoy handing out candy and seeing the delighted children at my door. My grown children laugh when I will allow some youngester to pick one, two, three even a handful of treats out of my bowl. I have a variety of things in my bowl and it's a pretty difficult decision to make; a Hersey Bar and an almond joy or a peanut butter cup. The children also get sort of a surprized look when their hand hovers over the bowl waiting for my reaction, and when I say, "You can have another" the joy on their face just tickles me. Even better is the kid who takes a handful and squeals. It's candy, I can get more if I run out--and I am having my fun.
