Tyler once again you have not only amazed me with your abilities as a writer but also this time reduced me to tears again. Is it really possible to have “justice” for such a horrific deed? I do not know the answer to this. I can however make a list of things I would like have done to him to try and achieve a little justice, but I am sure there is a space constraint on this blog and the list may never end. I too am a very good friend of Jim, Cathy, Ryan and Gabe, and cannot fathom the depths the pain they are enduring. It is very easy for the public to (after some time) put these types of crimes to the back of their minds. Not forgetting but choosing to not think about them. The families and friends of the victims cannot. I pray for the peace and comfort for all that grieve for the loss of this innocent young girl. I have my own opinion as do many others, and mine is that no question this man is guilty of this murder. Now as Tyler eloquently stated in his post, the family, friends, loved ones, need this truth to bring some closure to this heinous act.

Very well said Ty.Shyanne’s Mom is one of my best friends.i’ve been friends with both her parents since i was a teenager.My heart aches for Kathy,Jim,Ryan,Gabe and especially for Shyanne.i’ve spent alot of time just thinking about what she may have been through and how terrified she must have been.It makes me physically ill.As for that murderer Ford,i hope that he is tortured every day for the rest of his life for what he has done.There will never ever be anything he can do to make up for what he has done.i hope Shyanne haunts his dreams for the rest of his life.i pray he gets what he deserves.

No Marilyn you were right the first time………he deserves to suffer……….dying is to easy for this piece of trash !!!! I am so saddened by this tragedy. I have an eleven year old daughter and a 26 year old daughter and shutter at the thoughts of anyone harming them !! Rest in peace Shyanne.

The words that come to me is JUSTICE=DEATH PENALTY….

Anybody that does this to a human being –especially an innocent 12 year old girl–does not deserve to die!
