While I do not have a problem with an Adult Store in the area. Personally I am surprised it took so long for one to come to this area. While I must admit Lovejoy’s Boutique is a very discrete establishment, and I have absolutely no quarrels with it in the area. My only concern is what limitations do they have as far as promotions, signage, and advertising? I mean are they, or will they be permitted to hang a neon sign that say sexually explicit things? Please keep in mind I have not visited this establishment.. Yet. But I come from an area where adult stores start out like this ones, eventually change, and start advertise things like Live Nudes, or 25 Cent Peep Shows, and things like that. Essentially, and I am sure most people will agree. The establishment the way it is, is wonderful, I wish them nothing but success. But I don't want to be driving down the road one day and have to explain to one of my children when they ask, "Dad, what does Live Nudes Mean?" or "What Does Spice Up Your Sex Life Mean?" I just think any public advertising should be closely monitored or require an approval process before it can be done. That is just my thought on the whole thing..
