For all of you readers that do not know me, I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself. As a new reporter I would like to get to meet as many people out there as I can. My name is Jill Osterhout and I have lived in Norwich all my life. I am a 2001 graduate of Norwich High School, and a 2006 graduate of Morrisville State College. I have three children aged one, two, and five. I entered into journalism in order to follow daily events that unravel in the community. In my first few weeks of work I am grateful already for the new things I have learned and for the interesting people I have met. I want this message to be a window into what I am all about. I want to allow my readers to interact with me and in doing so I have a plan that just may involve all of you! It is in the beginning stages but for any of you that are interested please contact me with questions, concerns, or just to share your story.
I believe everyone has a story. Each week I want to meet with one of my readers and allow you to tell YOUR STORY. If you have done something you feel needs to be acknowledged then I want to hear it. I want to talk to the public to hear what you have to say, and tell the community about the great things people are doing everyday. This is a work in progress and participation is the first step.
