Pedophile Undertones
Maybe it was in the air, maybe it was just the day, or maybe it is just what the world is turning into. It seems that everywhere I looked yesterday or should I say everywhere I read it seems that becoming a pedophile is the best thing since crustless bread. In one paper I read how a man that is already paying the price for molesting two boys was trying to plea to the judge that being a pedophile should be legal. Um… Suuuuure that sounds like a reasonable request. Then came the JonBenet Ramsey case, once again a pedohile/sex-offender and killer on the loose. Another paper had a feature on chat rooms where pedophiles went to congratulate each other for succeeding at being masters of pedophile world.
This is just plain sick.
Then again, in my own safe haven called Norwich the number of pedophiles/sex offenders simply roaming the streets is even breathtaking. Did someone offer pedophile classes on the Internet or on T.V at some point in time that anyone looking for a career change could sign up for. If so, I must have missed that infomercial.
Last but certainly not least came the sentencing trial of Lewis J. Lee. A name that will surly not be forgotten for decades to come. A pastor that did the unspeakable. A man that will pay for his wrong doings for the rest of his life.
Some of these individuals pay dearly for their crimes but what about the others? Of course it would be unheard-of of think that it would teach anyone a lesson or slow the process of more and more predators getting their prey. As history has shown us all nothing is slowing down the rate of these despicable crimes. Did someone forget to teach all these people the lesson; right from wrong? I think that is truly a disturbing fact that our children could easily be prey for someone’s demented illusions or just their lack of good decision making skills. There needs to be more of an outcry to hammer down on these individuals. People can not sit around anymore and roast marshmallows while the world around them is on fire. Surley proven, it is the children that are getting burned.

I have to agree our country is crawling with these pedophiles, and these are the one’s that we are aware of. Think about the one that still have yet to get caught! These poor children have only a few people to protect them, and those people are not even aware of the situation. What do our school’s do to protect these kids? My whole time living in Norwich, I never once saw a flier that let me know of these crazy people that were living near me and my family. Isn’t that mandatory? I know you can get all this information at the police department, but why should you have to leave your house for this information, it should be falling into your laps! As a parent I am fully aware of who’s, who around my home. We live in a day were the internet is our life, search the web for these crazy nuts that live around you, it’s there it just takes a little time, and to me a little time to protect my child is well worth it!
